KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kabul-Ghazni-Bamyan highway in central Maidan Wardak province has been reopened after a day closure, officials said on Thursday.
Abdul Rahman Mangal, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that National Security Advisor (NSA) Mohammad Hanif Atmar met the protesters delegation on Wednesday.
He said the NSA vowed all the promises would be done as soon as possible.
Gul Rahim, one of the protesters, said the highway was reopened but some residents still stayed in tents.
