HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Police in western Herat province on Sunday announced detaining 31 people, including four colleagues, on the charges of usurping land and others.
A statement from the provincial police headquarters said five individuals including four policemen were detained for their alleged involvement in armed robberies. Some weapons and three motorbikes were seized from them, the statement said.
It added another 13 people were arrested over grabbing land in Herat City, the provincial capital.
