Nation celebrate 99th Independence Day

KABUL (Pajhwok): Pajhwok Afghan News congratulates the entire nation on the 99^th Independence Day today.

The people of Afghanistan secured their independence 99 years back from British under the leadership of Ghazni Amanullah Khan.

In the past the Independence Day was marked with huge and national-wide celebration but after the militants attack back in 2007 on the Mujahidin Victory Day the government limited the celebrations.
