NEILI (Pajhwok): Police have seized about 2,000 kilograms of explosives and arrested one suspect in central Daikundi province, an official said on Wednesday.
Ishaq Ali Paikar, police chief for Miramor district, told Pajhwok Afghan News 39 bags of the banned fertiliser used in bomb making were recovered on a tip-off.
He said the explosives had been transported from Kabul to Daikundi. One individual detained in connection with the seizure is being interrogated.
