HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): One inmate was killed by another while a man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in western Herat province, officials said on Saturday.
Gul Ahmad Ramish, the attorney general, told Pajhwok Afghan News after a verbal dispute, one prisoner was stabbed to death by another in the main provincial jail late on Friday night.
He said the victim’s body was evacuated to hospital and the court would issue its decision about the alleged killer, named Gul Ahmad.
The accused was arrested last year by the security forces on charges . . .
