BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Afghan and French archeologists have begun a joint study of an ancient city called Ghoghola near the Buddhas in central Bamyan province.
The joint Afghan-French team, accompanied by 30 archeology students, has been doing their research about the history of Gholghola’s city and its architecture over the past one week.
The Ghoghola, an area in ancient Sayedabad city, is located on a hill near the Buddha statues and is one of the eight ancient sites of the province.
