KABUL (Pajhwok): The Population Registration Department accused the Grand National Alliance (GNA) on Sunday of trying to create confusion about transparency in the upcoming elections by producing a large number of ‘fake’ ID cards and urged the Interior Ministry to investigate the matter.
A day earlier, the GNA stressed implementation of the election reform draft suggested by political parties and claimed finding access to documents that exposed government’s efforts to rig the upcoming polls.
