Taliban’s bomb making factory destroyed in Helmand

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Local security sources on Monday claimed a bomb making factory of Taliban militants has been destroyed in a foreign forces attack in Naad Ali district of southern Helmand province.

A statement from 215 Maiwand Military Corps in Helmand received by Pajhwok Afghan News said that foreign forces targeted the bomb making factory from Shurab Base.

The source said three militants were also killed in the incident. Thirteen other insurgents were killed during airstrikes in other parts of Naad Ali and Greshk districts of Helmand during airstrikes, the statement added.

The statement did not provide information about the exact location and time of the attack.

The source said six militants were killed in Afghan forces airstrikes in Sanging district.

Taliban did not comment yet on the attacks.
