NEILI (Pajhwok): Police detained as many as 625 people accused of different crimes during the past five months in central Daidkundi province, an official said on Tuesday.
Provincial crime branch police chief Mohammad Mujahid told Pajhwok Afghan News that the crimes happened in 10 districts of the province.
Mujahid added four suspects were recently detained in connection with five criminal cases across the province.
He cited unemployment, drugs and the conflict as major reasons behind the growing crimes in the province.
