JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Five municipality workers have been injured in a landmine explosion in the Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province on Friday, an official said.
The employees were on tax collection task when the blast happened at around 7:00 am, the Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Public Health Director Najibullah Kamawal said five injured had been evacuated to hospitals from the site of the blast.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
