KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): A semi-medical midwifery and nursing institute has ceased functioning in southeastern Khost province following internal problems and poor leadership of the provincial public health department, local officials said Sunday.
The training institute was opened four years ago with financial support from Norway. Two batches of midwives and nurses have so far graduated from the institute.
