KABUL in the Asia Cup Super Four Stage.
Shah smashed 72 runs off 90 balls to guide Afghanistan an emphatic 93-run win over Sri Lanka at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in the UAE on Monday.
"Our first target was to qualify for the Super Four. We have already qualified. Now we want more," Shah said in an interview with the Khaleej Times.
The Afghans have won 12 of the 17 ODIs they have played this year, sending their morale sky-rocketing. "We are confident of playing the big teams and beating them in the big matches," Shah said.
He added the Afghan line-up included good all-rounders and spinners. “We are not here to give tough time to India and Pakistan; we are here to win these matches."
