KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Three back-to-back bomb blasts rocked this capital city of southern Kandahar province on Sunday night, injuring only one policeman, the governor’s house said.
In a statement, the governor’s house said the blasts took place before 8pm in the jurisdiction of the second police district of Kandahar City. Security forces cordoned off the area after the first blast and the two consecutive blasts followed, the statement said.
There were no fatalities in the blasts which injured one policeman, the governor’s house statement read. Civilians stayed unharmed.
