KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): The Independent Election Commission (IEC)’s regional office in southern Kandahar province was reopened on Monday as protestors called off their demonstration after assurances.
Almost ten days back, supporters of the Grand National Alliance closed down the IEC branches in Kandahar, Nangarhar, Herat and Balkh provinces over alleged fraud in the voter registration process.
