HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): At least 14 people have been injured, including women and children, in a traffic accident in western Herat province, an official said on Monday.
Dr. Arif Jalali, director of the zonal hospital, told Pajhwok Afghan News three passenger vehicles collided on the Herat-Islam Qala highway on Sunday evening.
He said 14 people who were on their way to Herat from Iran were wounded. The injured are currently under treatment and their condition is said to be stable.
