Iran’s steel exports to Afghanistan rise significantly

KABUL and Iraq from March 21 to Aug. 22, a media report says.

Iran’s steel exports to the two war-devastated countries amounted to more than $546 million, The Financial Tribune reported on Wednesday

During the first five months of the current fiscal year, Iran’s export saw 95 percent and 136 percent growth in terms of tonnage and value respectively compared with last year's corresponding period.

Khouzestan Steel Company was billed as the top exporter with 167,095 tonnes, followed by Esfahan with 62,421 tonnes and Hormozgan with 52,000 tonnes.
