KABUL as the move would undermine the principle that Afghans should determine their future themselves.
Recently there had been media reports that the US government may consider the proposal from infamous Blackwater founder Erik Prince to privatize the now 18-year-old conflict in Afghanistan.
But a statement from the Afghanistan National Security Council (NSC) on Thursday said the Afghan security and defense forces had rendered huge sacrifices for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity and would continue their efforts in this regard.
According to the statement, the privatization of the Afghan conflict was against the norms and principles through which the Afghans were committed to deciding their future themselves.
The statement said Afghan security forces would continue their fight against terrorism with support from their foreign allies and friends.
It added the protection of people of Afghanistan, national and Islamic values were main responsibilities of the government and it would never hand over these holy duties to businessmen.
