ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Local officials on Saturday said Taliban and Daesh or so called Islamic State (IS) insurgents engaged in a fight with each other in eastern Kunar province, causing casualties to both sides.
A statement from Silab Military Corps in the east, received by Pajhwok Afghan News said that Taliban and Daesh clashed in Wattapor district of Kunar late on Friday.
The source said four Taliban fighters and as many Daesh insurgents were killed and scores others wounded in the incident.
