KABUL (Pajhwok): The Trump administration has renewed its stout support for the Afghan government’s reconciliation process, says President Ashraf Ghani’s office.
US Special Advisor on Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad held out the assurance during a meeting with Ghani at the Presidential Palace in Kabul late on Sunday.
A statement from Ghani’s office said Khalilzad briefed the president in his trips to regional countries and reaffirmed the US support to the Afghan government and people.
