MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A top judicial official survived a gun attack but two of his bodyguards were injured in northern Balkh province on Wednesday.
Two armed motorcyclists attacked Balkh Justice Director Syed Mohammad Jafar Misbah in limits of the 9th police district in Mazar-i-Sharif City -- the provincial capital.
Misbah told Pajhwok Afghan News he came under attack on way to office. The director was slightly wounded but guards are said to be in critical condition.
