MEHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Interior Ministry special forces on Saturday arrested two moneychangers from a district bazaar in central Kapisa province, an official said.
The two moneychangers were arrested from Tamir bazaar area of Tagab district on Saturday afternoon during an operation, said Tagab district police chief Mohammad Naeem Sapi.
He said the two individuals had been accused of their involvement in drug smuggling, in a kidnapping case and having connections with insurgents.
A shopkeeper in the bazaar, Hafizullah, also confirmed the two moneychangers were taken away by the special forces after cordoning off the area.
