KABUL (Pajhwok): The deputy foreign minister, Hikmat Khalil Karzai on Wednesday resigned from his position, citing differences with government the only reason of his resignation, an official said.
Sibghatullah Ahmadi, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), told Pajhwok Afghan News that Karzai presented his resignation letter to President Ashraf Ghani.
Karzai also shared his resignation letter on his twitter account written in Pashto.
He cited serious differences in views in the national unity government . . .
