20 killed, 16 injured in Qarabagh traffic accident

CHAHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Twenty people were killed and 16 others injured in a traffic accident in the Qarabagh district of Kabul province on Thursday evening, an official said.

District Chief Mohammad Azeem Dil Aqa told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place in the Barekab area late on Thursday.

“The accident happened when convoy vehicles carrying wedding party guests collided. 20 people were killed 16 others injured,” he said.

Women and children are among those injured in the incident.
