Saudi Arabia condemns violent attacks in Afghanistan

KABUL candidate in southern Helmand province and another incident of bombing on foreign forces in Bagram district of central Parwan province, a media report said.

This was unfolded, in a statement announced here today by an official source, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, adding that the Kingdom reiterated, outright, rejection of violence, extremism, and terrorism, in all forms and manifestations, regardless of the causes and reasons, offering condolences and consolation to the victims’ families, the government and people of the fraternal Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

A suicide bomber on foot targeted a NATO patrolling convoy near a major US military base in the Bagram district on Wednesday.

Parwan police chief Brig. Gen. Mohammad Mehfooz Walizada told Pajhwok the attack took place in Shinzai area, destroying a NATO tank. He said no one was hurt in the attack and only the attacker was killed.

NATO Resolute Support Mission also confirmed to Pajhwok an IED exploded during a Resolute Support patrol in Bagram district of Parwan province wounding three service members.
