<p>LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): A resident of the Greshk district in southern Helmand province on Wednesday accused <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> polls.</p>
<p>Hazfizullah, who is being treated at the Bost hospital, told Pajhwok Afghan News he was on his way from Greshk district to Kandahar province when Taliban militants took him hostage.</p>
<p>He said he was held captive for two days and was released on the third day when Taliban cut his finger off.</p>
<p>Hafizullah, a blacksmith, is father of four children and meets his family economic needs through his shop.</p>
<p>The victim said the Taliban also captured another person travelling with in a passenger car, but released him soon because he had not voted in the Oct 20 parliamentary elections.</p>
<p>The Taliban have not yet commented about the incident.</p>
