Rahimi resigns as Herat governor

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Governor of Western Herat Province Mohammad Asif Rahimi has resigned from his post, a well-placed source said on Saturday.

According to the source, the president accepted the resignation of Rahimi who served as the governor of Herat from 2014 till this date.

On Friday, the governor of Maidan Wardak province also resigned from his post.
