PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Counter-narcotic police seized 86 kilograms of drugs and arrested one individual in connection with the drugs in northern Baghlan province, an official said on Tuesday.
Police chief Brig. Gen. Akramuddin Sareh told reporters that the drugs including 86kg, including 75kg opium and 11 kg hashish were seized from a truck and its driver detained.
He said the drugs were skillfully hidden and the driver wanted to transfer them to Mazar-i-Sharif City, the capital of Balkh province, from Khanjan district.
