JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Women in eastern Nuristan province have been facing multiple issues and no work had been carried out for their uplift over the years, an official said on Saturday.
Tahmina Mowahid, appointed as acting women affairs director one month back, told Pajhwok Afghan News during the period she unearthed women related problems and would soon formulate strategies to resolve them.
She acknowledged no change happened in the lives of women in Nuristan over the years.
