KABUL (Pajhwok): Fifty-four militants have been killed and 28 others injured during security forces operation in different provinces of the country, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in a statement on Friday.
Security forces conducted nine joint clearing operations, 101 special commando tasks, and 35 airstrikes in 11 provinces of the country.
The raids were conducted in Nangarhar, Kunar, Logar, Paktika, Ghazni, Kandahar, Balkh, Faryab, Kunduz and Helmand provinces, the statement said.
