KABUL (Pajhwok): A Daesh or so-called Islamic State (IS) spokesman has been killed during an operation in the Haska Mena district of eastern Nangarhar province, the Afghan military said on Sunday.
The alleged IS-Khorasan region spokesperson identified as Sharafat Shafiq was killed during a joint security operation in the district, the Afghan National Army’s 201stSelab Military Corps said in a statement.
