KABUL (Pajhwok): Over 50 shops in the Melad Market turned to ashes as a result of a fire on Sunday morning, an official said on Sunday.
Najib Danish, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, told reporters here the reason behind the fire eruption was not known but investigation into the incident had been launched.
He said the fire began at second floor at around 6:30 and spread to the fourth floor of Milad Market.
