KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Taliban gunmen shot dead a prosecutor in southern Kandahar province on Sunday, an official said.
The incident happened in the limits of the second police district of Kandahar city, the provincial capital, before noon, said Aziz Ahmad Azizi, the governor’s spokesman.
He told Pajhwok Afghan News the slain attorney, Abdul Wahid, was a resident of northern Baghlan province and had been serving as prosecutor at the provincial Attorney Office.
