KABUL (Pajhwok): Fifteen unregistered Afghans were detained as they patrolled Istanbul streets to chase Pakistanis whom they called robbers, a news report said on Wednesday.
After spotting the Afghan migrants in Esentepe neighborhood late on Tuesday, residents of Sultangazi district called police, Daily News reported. The Afghans were later detained.
The detainees alleged they had been robbed by unidentified Pakistanis whom they were looking for. Police started an investigation into the allegation before deporting the unregistered migrants to Afghanistan.
