KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Acting defense minister Asadullah Khalid and US and NATO Gen. Scott Miller on Thursday attended a security meeting in southern Kandahar province, an official said.
Afghan National Army’s 205 Atal Military Corps commander Gen. Imam Nazar Behbud and Kandahar police chief Brig. Gen. Tadin Khan also attended the meeting, said the corps spokesman, Sadiq Esa.
Gen. Behbud briefed the meeting about security operations and said they planned 81 operations in Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan and Daikundi provinces . . .
