NEILI (Pajhwok): Two days of heavy snowing has blocked all transport routes connecting districts of central Daikundi province with its provincial capital and Kabul, leaving many passengers stranded on mountain passes.
Some passengers, who are trapped at Qonaq Pass, told Pajhwok Afghan News that around 50 vehicles carrying women, children and ailing people, had trapped in snow in limits of Daikundi and Bamyan provinces and they were in serious need of water, food and warm clothes.
