Saudi envoy says hajj, umrah visas free of cost

KABUL and Umrah visa was free of cost and no one had the authority to monopolize the process.

A statement from the Saudi Embassy in Kabul said no firm, medical center, office or an individual had the right to misuse the Embassy name in issuing hajj and umrah visas.

It added the Saudi government was committed to offering services and facilities to all Muslims of the world during the performance of the pilgrimage to Makkah.

It said Hajj and Umrah visas were issued free of charge and allegations about monopoly on the process were untrue.
