SHARANA (Pajhwok): Three people, including a child, died and as many were wounded of gunshots fired at a ceremony welcoming a newborn baby in southeastern Paktika province, an official and residents said Wednesday.
The incident happened in Zamai village of Sarobi district, said a resident who wished go unnamed. He told Pajhwok Afghan News that some villagers resorted to celebratory firing after a baby boy was born, in which three persons, including a child, were killed and a child among three others were injured.
