<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> with reducing civilian causalities.</p>
<p>A statement from the group said international donors should put pressure on the Afghan government until civilian causalities significantly decreased.</p>
<p>The statement said civilians indeed suffered causalities in wars but in Afghanistan the casualties were of great concern.</p>
<p>Latest security incidents in several provinces showed there was a total disregard for civilian lives and war principles were not followed at all, the CPAG believed.</p>
<p>The group strongly condemned civilian casualties, which it said showed the president’s and security forces’ weakness.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Hasham Khan Alokozai, a Senator from southern Helmand province, claimed 21 civilians had either been killed or wounded in nighttime operations in Sarwan Kala and Garmaab localities of Sangain district late on Saturday night.</p>
<p>Alokozai said his relatives were among those killed.</p>
<p>CPAG once again called on the government to control civilian deaths by introducing all those commanders and individuals involved in their killings to the judicial organs.</p>
