JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least six civilians have been killed in a roadside bombing in Qarghayo district of eastern Laghman province, officials said Tuesday.
Governor’s spokesman, Asadullah Dawlatzai, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a roadside bomb targeted a civilian vehicle near Surkhakan Refugee Camp in Qarghayo district around 11am today.
He said all six onboard who were civilians killed in the incident. The mine was previously planted in the area and went off when the vehicle reached it.
Dawlatzai said Afghan forces were arrived to the area and launched an investigation into the incident.
No any groups so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
