KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Son of a slain Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier allegedly committed suicide inside the police headquarters in northern Kunduz province over delay or non-transfer of his father’s corpse.
Police spokesman Enamuddin Rahmani told Pajhwok Afghan News the man came to the police headquarters two days back and demanded the body of his ANA father who served in Faryab province and was killed there.
Rahmani said the man had been demanding ‘a prompt’ transfer of his father’s corpse, but after a few minutes he lost his patience, snatched a police . . .
