SHARANA (Pajhwok): Ten departments are headed by acting directors in southeastern Paktika province, where around 1,600 government posts lay vacant, officials and residents claimed on Wednesday.
The departments which are run by acting chiefs include the Borders and Tribe Affairs, the Information and Culture, Rural Development, Public Works and Economic Affairs as well as the Land authority, central statistics and the Olympic committee are controlled by acting heads.
