PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has asked Afghan authorities to release empty Pakistani trucks and containers.
On their way back to Pakistan, the vehicles were impounded in Khor Maidan area near the Torkham border, according to the SCCI executive committee.
During a meeting chaired by SCCI President Faiz Muhammad Faizi, the committee expressed concern over high rents empty trucks and containers had to pay after unloading of goods in Afghanistan.
