TV journalist injured in Helmand explosion

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): A private television journalist was wounded as a result of a magnetic bomb blast in southern Helmand province on Tuesday, an official said.

Governor Mohammad Yaseen Khan told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place at 8am. Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi was wounded in the blast. He is in critical condition, the governor said, condemning the incident.

Khan ordered security forces to investigate the incident. The private TV head also confirmed its local reporter was injured. The Taliban have not net commented in this regard.
