Farah’s acting director of public works gunned down

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen shot dead the acting director of public works in western Farah province on Wednesday, an official said.

Police spokesman Mohibullah Mohib told Pajhwok Afghan News the killed Eng. Salem Farahi in limits of the 1st police district. The official was on his way to office.

Farahi had been serving as acting director of public work for the past two months. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the incident.
