Trump meets security team on situation in Afghanistan

KABUL with his national security team.

Friday’s classified meeting on Afghanistan came hard on the heels of Kabul’s criticism of Washington for keeping it out of the loop on discussions with the Taliban.

On Thursday, National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib argued a troop pullout arrangement had to be discussed with the Afghan government,  

According to the Associated Press, Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, CIA Director Gina Haspel and Trump's security adviser John Bolton attended the meeting.

The US is reportedly working on pulling out about 7000 troops from Afghanistan a long-standing demand of Taliban.
