<p>JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Border police have seized 40 rockets in Momand Dara district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Wednesday.</p>
<p>The official said the rockets had been smuggled from <a href="/en/pakistan" class="glossify-link">Pakistan</a> and three individuals had been arrested in connection with the seizure.</p>
<p>Brig. Gen Mohammad Ayub Hussain, 1<sup>st</sup> brigade border police commander, told media representatives on Wednesday that their personnel seized 40 rocket shells in a pick-up vehicle and three individuals were also arrested.</p>
<p>The rockets were smuggled to Afghanistan for destructive activities, he said, claiming the forces had inflected heavy casualties on militants and frustrated their several attacks.</p>
