LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Two explosions took place at a ceremony marking Farmers’ Day in southern Helmand province on Saturday.
The blasts happened at the Karzai Stadium, where government officials, including the governor, and ordinary people were attending the ceremony.
Unconfirmed reports said the governor and his deputy were among the injured. Official sources have not yet commented on the incident.
