KABUL (Pajhwok): The government leaders condemned the attack on a ceremony celebrating Farmers Day in southern Helmand province, saying enemies of Afghans trying to conceal their defeat in the battlefield by carrying out such actions.
Four people including economy director of Helmand were killed and 31others including deputy governor, a number of members of the provincial council, a local reporter, agriculture director wounded in two blasts in a ceremony marking Farmers Day in Lashkargah, capital Helmand on Saturday.
