5 security personnel killed, 6 captured by Taliban

KABUL in northern Sari Pul province, an official said in Monday.

The firefight -- sparked off by Taliban attacks on two security checkpoints in Suzma Qala district on Sunday night -- continued until Monday morning.

Two security officials were injured in the clash, said Zabihullah Amani, spokesman for the governor. The attackers also captured six soldiers.
