ANA chopper crashes in Kandahar; 2 pilots injured

KABUL (Pajhwok): Two pilots were wounded as an Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter crashed in southern Kandahar province on Wednesday.

Maj. Sadiq Esa, deputy commander of the 205^thAtal Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place at the Kandahar Airport at 7am.

He said the MD-530 copter crashed as a result of technical issues. Two pilots were wounded. The helicopter had some technical problem during training and fell before landing.

The injured are said to be in stable condition.
